NOTICE OF VIOLATION

Ms. Davis-
I'm writing to call your attention to section 7.0 (Commercial District) of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance, which reads in part:
"Any change in use or type of activity in an existing structure or any new construction in this district, other than a single family dwelling, must have prior approval from the Planning Board under the Site Plan Review regulations."
The conversion of your location from a clothing store to a restaurant with on-site kitchen is clearly a change in use and, as such, you are in violation of the Wilton Zoning Ordinance to have opened your business without the required Site Plan Review.
We need you to resolve this as quickly as possible by filing an application at Town Hall for a Site Plan Review. The next application deadline is November 13th, which would get you into our December 16th meeting.

If we do not receive your application by November 13th, we will refer this matter to the Select Board for enforcement action under RSA 676:17.
