EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

The applicant(s) have submitted an application for acceptance and approval for a proposed amendment to an approved site plan for Devine Flooring, LLC located on lot F-35.  The purpose  is to remove an existing 322 ft² unheated storage area and replace it with  a 1,440 ft² warehouse building for storage and prepping of carpet & flooring jobs

 

On the south side, five parking spaces were removed to allow space for the new building, but no additional impervious area was created.  The 24 spaces meet the min. required for these uses in the Commercial district.  On the north side, the 38+ ft concrete walk was remove and crushed stone placed closer to building for access to an employee entrance. A concrete walk from the Handicapped parking to the NE main entrance was added and the surrounding crushed stone is replaced by loam & landscaping.

 

Authorization letters, DOT access permit #028-485-90 and Road Agent letter received; no issues.   Two waivers are requested (See 3-4-2010 letter) for SD 9.5d, drainage calcs, and 9.7.2, 24 ft travel lanes reduced to 22 ft on south side.

 

NRPC has no problem with the response and changes associated with the Plan revision 3/30/10.
